Stop Internet Fraud

Action FraudAction Fraud are now an Information Provider

Action Fraud is the UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and Internet crime where you should report fraud if you have been scammed, defrauded or experienced cyber crime. They provide a central point of contact for information about fraud and financially motivated internet crime.

People are scammed, ripped off or conned everyday, it is the biggest growth crime and we know that our members find the variety of different warnings (that are sometimes out of date) confusing, we also know that it is not always clear where to report potential scams or check if something is a scam. The service is run by the City of London Police working alongside the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau who are responsible for assessment of the reports and to ensure that your fraud reports reach the right place. The City of London Police is the national policing lead for economic crime.

We are delighted to let you know that Action Fraud have adopted the Neighbourhood Alert system for message distribution nationally so from early next year you will be able to receive verified Fraud and Scam warning messages directly from the National Police Force with the lead for this type of crime.
