Wrea Green Football Club
The Football Club are running two sides again this season, and again, there will be one team competing in the Lancashire Evening Post Sunday League (the Preston Team) and one in the Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance (the Blackpool Team).
Sunday football has been played on The Green since 1976, with a second team being introduced in 1992. There was previously a Saturday side but the exact date of the founding of the club is shrouded in the mists of time. It is known, however, that we had a soccer side in the late nineteenth century.
