There was standing room only in the Institute when Sally Naden hosted her 2 hour morning radio show here on Monday. Radio Lancashire established their base in Wrea Green and asked a number of villagers what they thought about the Greenland’s Sport Village planning application. The response was predictable and many people expressed their heart felt concerns. It has since been learned that Fylde Borough Council are to recommend the application be refused. This is excellent news but the item must still be discussed and decided formally on Wednesday 4th April at St Margarets Church Hall, St Leonards Road West in St Annes. It is hoped that a good number of villagers will be able to attend this 10am meeting and transport will be provided for those who need it. We will report future developments on this site.
