Remembrance Wood – Buy a Tree

We still have lots of trees available and have recently planted another 250 trees this winter. Now restrictions are starting to ease, we are now able to set some dates and times for meeting families at the Woods to choose and dedicate trees. If you are wanting to do this please can you fill in this form and then we know who is coming on what day.

When you come and visit the Woods to choose your tree, we will be there to show you round and help if needed. There’s a real variety of trees to choose from – fruit trees, silver birch, rowans, beech, maples and firs just to name a few. The trees are already planted.

We encourage everyone to bring a plaque with them to put with their tree when they choose it. Plaques on stakes like this one from Timpsons or this plaque from Etsy work best. We’ve heard that some companies are taking longer than usual to personalise them so please do order one as soon as you can. You’re welcome to plant a few bulbs by the tree too, but please do not put any decorations, ornaments or stones there as they can blow off in the wind and make it difficult to take care of the trees.

We ask everyone to make a donation of £210 for the trees, which covers the cost of the tree and will help us to get the support we need to take care of the wood for years to come. We’ll send you the details for payment after you’ve chosen a tree.
