Hot Weather Can Make Easy Targets

HOT WEATHER, EASY TARGETS, HIGH CRIME

Yes, it is hot outside and people want their windows open – but think about this – would you rather leave your windows open and come home to find your home has been burgled, or alternatively, close them whilst you’re out ensuring that burglars can’t get into your home.

Look at your neighbourhood, how many people do you know that are out leaving their easy-to-climb-into windows open?  Please, as a Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator, or Member, pass on the message that it might be hot outside, but you will be totally devastated on top of feeling the heat if you don’t take crime prevention advice and close your windows and lock your doors whilst out.  Thank you!
