Please note many of the crimes listed below were from property or vehicles which were left insecure. In many of the cases the burglar(s) climbed through windows, even the very small ones. Worth remembering is the fact that your insurance may be invalid if you fail to lock up.
How would you feel if someone rifled through your personal belongings and stole items which have sentimental value or you have worked hard to buy? Please, don’t become a victim yourself.
Just recently a burglary occurred and, as if this was not bad enough, there was extensive water damage and walls had been graffitied in the home.
Do you and your loved ones justice by keeping your property safe with a few simple crime prevention precautions. Thank you.

Note: Many of the above crimes are still ‘under investigation’, some have been ‘closed’ as there is no further lines of enquiry at this time (but will be reopened if something comes up in the future); others will have ‘no further action’ taken because the aggrieved may not wish to proceed as the crime may have been committed by a family member or friend. Where an offender has been arrested this is indicated.

Be a good citizen – if you see someone who left a purse, bag, wallet, mobile in a vulnerable place make sure that you tell them that thefts happen and they should keep hold of their property.
To help protect your belongings, whether household or business, register your property for free at www.immobilise.com this will mean that is your property is stolen; you have a higher chance of getting it back!
