A wonderful 5 1/2 acre plot has been donated by Andy Bradshaw to become a Remembrance Wood. The Wood is now open to all, including responsible dog owners. The area is on the East side of Bryning Lane and is best approached from Richmond Avenue. It is an area of quiet reflection with a pond, walkways, dovecotes and of course a lot of trees.

A variety of trees have been planted and can be dedicated to loved ones, including fruit trees, rowans, silver birch and firs just to name a few. There is a range of sizes, from small saplings to 8ft tall, and it is a £210 donation for each tree which helps to cover the costs of looking after the Wood for years to come.
