PUBLIC TIME, COUNTY AND BOROUGH COUNCILLOR REPORTS:

To invite and listen to issues raised by members of the public.   Details of how residents can address the council during public time can be found in the Public Participation Policy on the website and notice boards. Members of the public are allocated upto 3 minutes to speak or at the discretion of the Chairman.

  1. To resolve banking reconciliation and payment requests as presented by the RFO

b.      Update on any general matters relating to parish finances

 

6. Correspondence and parish council matters

To consider the following items of correspondence previously distributed by the clerk:

a.      13th May 2026 – consider invitation to FBC Mayor-making

b.      LALC meeting will be held at St Paul’s Church, Lake Road North, Ansdell, Monday 27th April – starting at 7pm

c.      To consider supporting Westby with Plumptons PC enquiry relating to provision of adequate medical facilities with the increased development locally

d.      20th April 2026 – Parish planning forum

e.      Update on Neighbourhood Plan with regards to resident / PC involvement

 

7. Proposals – recreation, grounds and open space

To discuss and consider current issues and resolve any actions required:

a.      To consider request for resident to operate mobile coffee bar from the Green

b.      To consider invitation for Chairman to walk in the Field Day parade on 4th July 2026

c.      To consider replacement of fence at allotments / pre-school. Update on the carpark / pre-school area.

d.      To consider requesting funding / reparations to sections of highways within the village – Cllr Dwyer

e.      To consider fishing permit fees
