4b. Planning Decisions:

LAND TO THE WEST OF THE BROOKLANDS RIBBY WITH WREA                               REFUSED

ERECTION OF 46 AGE RESTRICTED BUNGALOWS (55 AND OVER), INCLUDING A COMMUNITY PAVILION, VEHICULAR ACCESS FROM THE BROOKLANDS, HARD AND SOFT LANDSCAPING, AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE.

 Finance – appendix 1.

  1. To resolve banking reconciliation and payment requests as presented by the RFO
  2. Update on any general matters relating to parish finances
  3. Notification of approved external audit
  4. Insurance policy renewal – 1st October 2024 to the 30th September 2025.
    The premium (including IPT and all fees) for the year will be: £1,864.07.

 
6. Correspondence and parish council matters

To consider the following items of correspondence previously distributed by the clerk:

a.     Lancashire Parish and Town Council Conference will take place on Saturday 2 November 2024 in The Exchange at County Hall, Preston beginning at 9.30am.

b.     Report from D-Day committee in relation to events held 2023/24

c.     LALC ‘Fylde Area Committee’ will be on Monday 23rd September 2024 – commencing at 7pm – at the ‘William Segar Hodgson Pavilion’ Kirkham

d.     Update – road safety group – Cllr Dan Hall

e.     Tangerine Group – report on meeting attended by clerk and Chairman relating to proposed planning matter

f.      Update – 3 parishes dinner

 
7. Proposals – recreation, grounds and open space

To discuss and consider current issues and resolve any actions required:

a.     Defib update – regarding the tennis club proposal

b.     Consideration to permit electric charging points on garage land owned by PC

c.     Field Day funding – to consider proposal presented by the Chairman

d.     Cookson’s Farm Beech tree – consideration to action – Cllr Wardell
