| The Wyre and Fylde RTF are currently investigating a number of incidents which we believe have occurred in the early hours of the 20th August 2022.
Firstly a Silver Navara pickup has pulled up outside an address on Preston Old Road at 00:34 hours and loaded numerous gardening tools into the back of the pickup prior to making off a few minutes later. What we suspect as being the same vehicle then makes round to Rutland Avenue whereby an Ifor williams trailer gets hooked onto the pickup and makes off, making its way down Lower Lane in the direction of Kirkham. Secondly a blue Mercedes Vito at approximatly 00:45 hours is stolen from an address on Lower Lane, Freckleton. We know this van travels along the A584 in the general direction of Lytham. We are asking for anyone who was in either of these areas at the time and have any infomation please get in touch. If you were driving in the area to check dashcam footage and check any CCTV cameras. Please use this as a reminder to be vigilant and report anything suspicious. Thank you. |
