Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner Andrew Snowden would like to hear your views on his funding proposals for Lancashire Constabulary in 2023/24, you can complete the short survey online.
With yours and the Government’s support, Lancashire is on track to have 612 more police officers by March of this year. However, we are not yet feeling the full benefits of this huge investment, with hundreds of officers still in training and specialist new teams being established.
The Commissioner’s Fighting Crime Plan 2021- 25 sets out his ambition for more visible front line police officers, but also for investment into crime fighting cyber and digital technology and physical infrastructure to ensure the force is fit for the future to stay one step ahead of criminals.
Further investment is vital to continue getting tough on antisocial behaviour and organised crime, tackling domestic abuse and violence – particularly against women and girls, cracking down on burglary and robbery, and targeting dangerous drivers.
The Commissioner is looking for your views on his proposals to inform his decision making ahead of presenting his expenditure proposals to the Police and Crime Panel and subsequently making his budget decisions.
