Planning Decisions: Granted BLACKBURNS FARM NURSERIES AND WILDLIFE CENTRE & LAND WEST OF BROWNS LANE RIBBY ROAD RIBBY WITH WREA FLOOD MITIGATION AND HABITAT CREATION PROJECT ASSOCIATED WITH DRAINAGE IN VICINITY OF RIBBY HALL AND BROWNS LANE, INCLUDING 1) INSTALLATION OF A CULVERTED WATERCOURSE, APPROXIMATELY 800M IN LENGTH, FROM BROWNS LANE IN A SOUTH WESTERLY DIRECTION TO A NEW ATTENUATION POND THAT WILL DISCHARGE TO WREA BROOK.

Finance – appendix 1. a. To resolve banking reconciliation and payment requests as presented by the RFO b. Update on any general matters relating to parish finances
6. Correspondence and parish council matters To consider the following items of correspondence previously distributed by the clerk: a. Update – road safety group – Cllr Dan Hall. b. Devolution meeting will be held on Thursday 22nd May – 7pm start – at ‘Kirkham Community Centre’ c. The Annual Meeting of the Council will be held at Lowther Pavilion, Lytham on Wednesday 7th May 2025 at 14.00 when Councillor Frank Andrews will be installed as Mayor of the Borough for the ensuing Municipal Year.
d. Request received for grant for the Cricket Club
7. Proposals – recreation, grounds and open space To discuss and consider current issues and resolve any actions required: a. Further consideration to Field Day – Cllr Craine b. To further consider request to use the Green for village function – K. Murray. c. 9 and 10 July to consider request for event alongside annual sports day event. d. Request relating to funding for seniors event e. To establish guidelines on events on the Green in the future. f. Submissions for newsletter 23rd April 2025
