We wish to encourage both teachers and families with school-aged children to be with us on our next visit to St Bris, and to that end we have set the visit between 25th and 28th May 2013 rather than earlier in the month as originally proposed. This puts the visit at the start of the half term holiday. The visits to St Bris in Burgundy are always most enjoyable. We pay for transport and our hosts look after us for the whole visit. We consider ages of children and language ability when matching hosts and guests. There are communal trips to places of interest nearby and there are social events in the beautiful, fortified, wine-making village, as well as smaller groups for meals and parties arranged by our hosts. It’s always great fun, and you’ll get on fine even if you can’t speak French. You may get the opportunity to look after your French friends when they come here in 2014. I shall send round another email in the New Year. Meanwhile, please would you do all you can to encourage people of all ages to join us at the end of May. If you’d like to join us, please contact Mike Parker ([email protected]) or any of the committee. And a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the committee of the Wrea Green Twinning Group.
