A new book, ‘Preston to Blackpool’ published by Middleton Press is available from March 24th. This book takes a detailed look at the railways of the Fylde from the early days right up to the eve of electrification. A 120 photos and maps take you along the lines to Blackpool and Fleetwood from Preston. Picture shows a train stopping at Wrea Green in 1961.
