HMRC Sam Warning

**Fraud/Scam Alert**

We have been made aware of numerous residents living in the Fylde area receiving phone calls from people claiming to be from HMRC.

The caller will demand money stating there is a warrant out for the arrest of all residents at the property. The caller will insist the Police are on the way and all at the address will be arrested if payment is not made immediately.

This is a scam call, HMRC will NEVER demand payment by phone in this manner.

If this has happened to you, or you would like any advice, please call the Action Fraud line on 0300 123 2040.

Fylde Neighbourhood Team.
